"Daddy," Katara whined. "Stop it or I won't ever get married." Katara said as she gave her father a look.

"What, Katara? It was a simple question." Hakoda said innocently

"Zuko, doesn't need to sign a 'to marry my daughter application'!!" Katara said as she crossed her arms.

"What? It's simple. I look at his answers and see if he is expectable." Hakoda said as if it wasn't anything as he handed a thick stack of papers to Zuko.

"Dad." Katara said as she took the papers away from Zuko and started to look through them.

Her eyes started to bulge and she turned red. "How many times you will make love to my daughter and have you already?" She looked up to her father. "That is none of your business. You do not need to know." Katara practically squeaked out.

Hakoda just shook a shoulder. "The first one I don't but the second one i do." Hakoda said as he fixed Zuko with a look.

Zuko visibly inched further away from Hakoda. "I have not touched your daughter that way, sir." Zuko said as he made eye contact with Hakoda.

"Katara, you tell me that." Hakoda said as he dismissed what Zuko said.

"Dad!!" Katara said with a shrill shout. "You don't need to know anything about my sex life."

"Just you saying 'sex life' tells me there are secrets." Hakoda said as he crossed his arms.

Katara gave a sweet smile. "So you want to know everything that goes on down there, right?" Zuko knew where this was going.

"Yes, finally you see my point." Hakoda said as he threw up his arms in victory.

"Ok fine." Katara said with a smile and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm on my period so I have cotton shoved up me my hole so I don't get blood all over me." Hakoda turned bright red then paled. "That enough information for you?" Katara said with a  look of victory.

"That isn't what I wanted to know." Hakoda said with pursed lips and shaking his head.

"But you wanted to know everything that was going on didn't you." Katara said with a sweet smile.

"Not like that." Hakoda said looking over to Zuko for help on this.

"But you wanted to know everything." Katara said as she leaned towards him and punctuating every word. Zuko just looked at Hakoda with wide eyes and shaking his head no and started to walk to the door to sneak out.

"Don't you dare." Hakoda said to Zuko. Zuko froze. "If I have to hear this then so do you."

"But I didn't open this can of worms." Zuko said with raised hands as if showing he was innocent. "You did."

"You are apart of this though." Hakoda said and pointing at Zuko.

"You brought the documents." Zuko fired back.

"Because I wanted to make sure she was safe with you." Hakoda said as he inched towards Zuko.

"And you are the one that wanted to know everything and already made me know way to much." Zuko fired back again.

"I never even wanted to know any of that." He said as he pointed to Katara.

Katara was rubbing her temples annoyed.

"You wanted to know everything that was going on." Zuko said.

Zuko and Hakoda started yelling at each other until a very angry Katara broke the argument.

"Girls girls, you pretty and your smart now shut up before both of you won't be able to walk." Zuko and Hakoda stopped there argument to stare wide eyed at Katara.

Katara walked into Zuko's arms and laid her forehead on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her back and started to rub circle on her back.

"I already have a headache." Katara mumbled into his shirt.

Zuko nonchalantly motioned for Hakoda to leave. Hakoda was to real sure at first but soon walked out.

"I love him, I really do." Katara said as she let out a sigh. "But I also want to strangle him."

Zuko let go of Katara and pulled her over to one of the love seats that were in this room.

"He is only doing it because he loves you." Zuko said as he sat down and pulled Katara down with him so she was sitting in his lap with her head resting against his chest. "Wait and see what I do when I have a daughter running around with boys." Zuko said with a chuckle.

"Oh good lord." Katara said with a giggle. "I doubt many men will survive."

"Hey." Zuko said with a chuckle. He kissed her forehead after a moment of silence. "I love you." He said as he felt her ease into him.

"I love you too." Katara said as she nestled into his chest.
